Evelyn Norris set a unique standard in cleaning when opening Band Box Cleaners in 1979. Her son Larry C. Deshazer grew up through the cleaning business and gained experience at many local establishments. He took his craft and headed the family business, renaming it Village Cleaners. His son Clark Deshazer followed the same path and has made Village Cleaners northeast Kansas's source for full service dry cleaning.
